Removing windshield from Austin Healey 3000 BT7

I need to remove the windshield from my 1960 Austin Healey 3000 (BT7) in order to repair the material on my dashboard. I thought it required me to remove the 4 screws found inside the door pillers and 2 screws on the fender. Suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Charlie

Hey Charlie,
I had my 1958 BN6 apart and seem to recall that the windshield posts were attached with the two bolts per side on the bottom of the post and of course the large chrome screw that attached the top of the foot to the shroud. There was also a smaller screw that threaded into the post from the inside so maybe that's the one you have missed. I do not recall any other screws. You should probably also have spacers between the vertical post where they attach to the body. I realize a BN6 was a two seater but believe from the doors forward would have been identical to a BT7. If there was something else I sure don't remember.
Regards,
Mike

Thanks Mike. I think you are right about the smaller screw that Have to access from the inside. I'll tackle that over the weekend. Thanks again.

Best,
Charlie
