I bought an adjustable reamer at the recommendation of the forum to ream my my trunnion bushes. I went slow, used lots of cutting oil which seemed to really eliminate the chatter. Byt the fourth bushing I had the rhythm down and was cutting like a pro. And I reamed them a little tight, figuring that the bronze bush will fit themselves to the steel tunnion pin in a short time.
BTW, Home Depot has Gunk brand dark cutting oil here on clearance for $2/pint. It's in the tool area, by the compressors.
As for presses Harbor Freight has good deals on 20 ton home units. Not much to them and they work fine. I really don't know how I ever worked on many projects without one.
