My car blows a lot of oil out the tailpipe. What will work to clean the oily film on my rear end? Turtle Wax Chrome cleaner works on the bumper but I fear it will be too abrasive for painted surfaces.
If all you need to remove is the oil, why not try some mineral spirits on a rag? Even a little gasoline should do the trick, if you don't have any mineral spirits.
You might try some stuff called greased lightening, it`s a degreaser {water based} so it won`t stain your paint. you can purchase it at your local wallyworld. {wallmart}
Wax and grease remover, normally used for cleaning and degreasing prior to painting. The major ingredient is naptha, and a gallon of naptha at the hardware store is cheaper than buying wax and grease remover at the paint store.

I think you're right, but it would probably end up getting moderated outta here faster than you could say, erm, well, "babywipes". /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
