Removing drilled out rivets from Top Frame

Ok so I started on the top replacement process and drilled out all of the rivets from the top header rail and removed the aluminum trim piece that holds the windshield seal. Is there any way to get the drilled out rivets out of the header rail.

On an MGB Top there is a space that you can shake and all will fall out. I'm guessing on a Spridget it's just one more rattly buzzy noise that I'll never notice with the engine running.

The quick and dirty fix is to shake them all down to the same place, drill a tiny hole just above them and then inject silicone sealant to glue them down.

Or just do as I have always done- just leave them there. I have never heard any rattling from the ones that I have left so I just don't bother removing them.

IIRC when Bill & I redid mine there was a 1/4 inch hole in one end already & I believe we shook out some of them. If the hole hadn't been there I'm sure we wouldn't have bothered.

You'd not notice the little noise they make... but if you can weld it'd be no problem to drill a little hole to extract them and then weld it back up and grind it smooth.
