remove BJ8 dash ?

Anyone know to remove the left hand dash panel (wood)?
you'll need to remove bolts that go through the bracket, windshield post on the left hand side. All of the gauges. There's a stud at the very top of the wood that has a nut holding it on so take that off. Loosen the center facia panel after you remove the arm rest and console. Swinging the center facia panel away from its attachment points should allow you easier access to the 4 screws that attach it to the the wood dash. I suppose you could disconnect the gauges and leave them in place except for the Safety gauge, but I liked everything out of the way when I did mine. The stud at the top backside is easier to get to with the tach and speedo in place.
