Hey fellas,I need some opinions on getting the disc and pressure plate rebuilt or should I get new. If getting new wheres the best place to go.Thanks stinky

Get a new set made by Borg & Beck, sold nearly every where. You should get a new throw out bearing and you'll need a dummy input shaft to align the clutch disk and center it over the input shaft bushing in the crankshaft.

Hey Stinky

While you are at it, replace the bush in the end of the crank shaft, I am told that you break it up to get it out, but I did not even have to try hard, it fell out. You may also be able to get it out with a slide hammer. Check also the hing pin on the clutch fork to see if there is any play, mine wobbled all over the place and that, along with a broken spring in the clutch housing, caused terrific offset wear on the clutch thrust bearing.

best of luck

Bob
