TR2/3/3A Rear Spring front attachment bolt

What did you do about the fuel line and the fuel in the tank? I don't see how you could lift the body with the fuel line attached. Am I wrong?
 
Not sure the forward shut off would be much help. Seems like you could clamp the hose connecting the tank line to the frame line - then disconnect the hose from the frame line.
 
Here is what I did last year after having a terrible time getting the bolt out on the driver side. Used the expandable jaws from my porta power set and a bunch of heat just to get it loose. Took 2 weeks even after soaking it for a week in PB Blaster. The passenger side I almost pushed it out by hand. Anyway I took the new pin and the old one and drilled a 1/8 hole through the center (in my lathe) just short of where it would come out of the frame and go into the spring bush so not to weaken the pin. Then it took a cut off wheel and cut a shallow grove around the outside. Then along the grove I drilled a series of 1/16" holes and on the end of the pin where the 5/16 threaded hole is I inserted a 90 degree grease fitting. Used a 5/16 bolt and drilled and taped it to receive the grease fitting. Slathered everything up with copper anti seize and inserted it into the frame. Once the springs were installed I shot up everything with grease. This was all done this way in case I ever brake a rear spring everything should come right out.
