I wasn't sure if I posted this, but since this is such a long off season...I figured I would show you what mother nature did last year

This was the first attempt to start the 50th anniv. Sprite race...we did it again the next day and I went from 11th of 18 cars to finish 4th! Made me glad that I learned to race at Gingerman Raceway for my license with VSCDA in the rain!

Yes the off season is too long, but I'm still behind on my maintenance and upgrades.
 
Ooooof! No fun!

I ran a two hour stint in four hour enduro once in rain like that. In a '63 Sprite. At night. At Summit Point (it was the yearly four-hour "twiligt" enduro).

Our car had a full windshield but no wipers. So about 10 minutes before hand, we pulled the windshield. I taped a sponge the the back of my glove to wipe my faceshield. I used it at least 10 times per lap.

I did manage to get the car to 6000 rpm in fourth...on Hoosier TDs. But if was sort of dicey.

Took me a week to feel dry again.
