You're right, Doc...so, I went outside, spent about 2 hours & got all the paint off a shock - down to that beautiful natural grey from the factory...then painted the arms black

Did the same with a stub axle assembly but haven't painted it yet & may not...that natural look is pretty nice!

& no extra mass!

JR what's the status of the fuel delivery system now. Did you remove the regulator? Have you been driveing?
 
Fuel pump and filter is going in, doubt tomorrow because it's dahubby's day with his mom. Possibly over the weekend, but he works Sat and Sunday. We're looking at Monday probably.

Of course I've been driving.

so JB... with this "new found power" that makes Emaa wanna "jump out from under you" are you getting positive squealing-n-smoking tires under acceloration, or is it just a chirp and then goes like heck?
 
As long as you are driveing, that's what counts.
