TR6 Questioning a Freeze Plug

I have a 72 TR6. While my cylinder head remains at the machine shop being overhauled, I decided to do some preventive maintenance on the block. While cleaning up the engine, I noticed a slight leak from a freeze plug on the right side. After a little research and YouTube watching, I successfully removed four plugs from the right side of the block. Two plugs are apparent on the left side; behind the distributor and near the forward end of the block.

According to the usual parts vendors, these are indeed freeze plugs but I am concerned about the one behind the distributor. Can anyone tell me if this is a freeze plug? I have attempted to remove it but it seems more difficult than expected. I only hope I didn't screw up my block. As usual, any helpful advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks
