I was given two sets of 1275 carbs with manifolds, heat shelds and everything. I was one lucky guy.
Meanwhile my H1s are at Joes for new throtle bushing, rods and butterflys. Can't wait.
One set of the HS2s is identified as AUD266F and the other as AUD549R. What do I have? Which is the best for Miss Agatha?
Think when I go to these I will have them professionaly rebuilt, etc. These things have more outlets that need blocked off than the law allows but they are only dirty and need some new bits inside and some new gaskets along with a good blasting and polishing of the domes. I do note that one set has the vacume advance on the carb body and the other set has it on the intake manifold.
I am not ever going through this carb air leak thing again.
These carbs will wait, I hope till I get a head and a cam to go with my 998cc engine and 1275 exhaust manifold. I should think a 30HP increase will be lovely.
