Hi guys - any grease needed where my (dirty) finger is pointing? This the transmission main shaft where the throw-out assembly rests / slips over.

Yes, a good high temp grease, Honda made a grease specifically for throw out bearing duties in Honda/Acura.. Comes in a little plastic tub..

Was about $6 when you last bought it at the Acura dealer by chance Ron? (I've been searching for info - LOL)

On the shaft only, or on the collar / grove where the fork pin hold it in place too?

Personally, I much prefer dry moly for that area (as well as the splines where the friction plate rides). Being dry, it cannot dry out and get gummy over time, plus of course it does not trap and hold dirt (like particles from the clutch).

I put it inside the collar of the throwout bearing, and on the fork arms where they rock against the back of the bearing...

Good stuff, used it for better than 10 years and have never seen a problem with it. Have seen problems with other lube and lack of lube...

"Lack" baaad...

CRC *GOOD*

Except I used an ordinary 1/4" bolt. Sorry I didn't take a photo, but here's one from Nelson:

I believe that should work, so you got it all covered, did you replace your bronze bushings that the shaft rides in? and go even further and drill your clutch shaft and add grease fittings?
