I believe Keoke is still taking a break and we miss him.
Your question has several good answers. Check the archives under gear box or trans oil. Some like 30 wt non-detergent. Some like Red Line. They seem to be the top two.

Only because Keoke has not been active lately and I just read
his old post in the forum archive a few weeks ago on this topic;
He said that he has used Valvoline VR1 60W racing oil in the
in the summer and 50W in the winter for the last 20 years.
