TR2/3/3A put a differential back into a tr3.

It has been a while since I put a differential back into a tr3. Is the best way to put the leaf springs back on at both ends of the frame and then push the leaf springs up with a floor jack onto the differential and then put the U bolts in place? Or should I leave off one end of the leaf springs and bolt the U bolts onto the differential and then re-hook the other end of the leaf spring some how--- probably by jacking it up with a floor jack? Any input is much helpful.

I don't know if there is a best way, depending on whether your body is installed, loose, or removed. This is how I went about it:

I installed mine by leaving one brake backing plate off and feeding it thru on top of the the springs. I may have had the back end of one of the springs disconnected (the side I fed it from). I actually don't remember. I do remember it wasn't as bad a job as I thought it would be.
