Thanks for the update. I am following your project closely as I plan on the same approach to the '60 Bugeye I acquired earlier this year. I was fortunate to find a body shop where the owner is a true classic car enthusiast. He still does the collision/insurance work to pay the bills, but he takes on 2-3 classics for whatever type work the owner desires. I keep thinking this guy is not real, he actually admits that he does not make good money on the classics, but he does them to satisfy his own desires!
I know you transported your tub up Tony's way, but how will the blaster actually handle the tub as far as lifting, tilting and moving it around to get to all sides? Will they put an etching primer on the tub to prevent oxidation? I am just starting to look at soda blasting vs. dipping.
