Update:
The surgery went well, though he didn't go in until after 5:00pm - they thought 2:00. He was stable through the procedure and came out as well as was hoped for. They are going to move him from ICU to "regular" room sometime today. I called him the evening before his surgery and told him I expect him to be better in time to go to the show in October, I was making reservations!
His daughter said he smiled and gave a thumbs up! :laugh:
On behalf of myself and my brother and his family, thank you all - individually and as the BCF collective. The thoughts, prayers, well wishes and everything are SO appreciated!!
