Fellow BCF'ers, my brother is having a procedure tomorrow that is VERY risky for him but is necessary. Please ask your higher being(s) / spirits / angels / protectors to watch over him and care for him. His name is Herbert Blake Hays. he is at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

He is also a life long TR3 enthusiast. A couple of Christmas's ago, Tinman made me a set of rear wheel spats to give Blake for Christmas. Blake was really surprised by that and the spats fit perfectly!! He always goes to the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club Show in the fall. If any of you have seen him at the show, he's the REALLY tall guy (6'11) with the really little car! He was also a friend of Twosheds (John Herrera). I am truly hoping the two of them aren't going to be meeting again any time soon.

As is apparent, we are very worried about him. Thank you for taking a few minutes to read this and send prayers and positive thoughts to him. His family genuinely appreciates this support.

Peter-
Wishing you and your family nothing but the best for your brothers speedy recovery.

Dude- Thinking quality thoughts for him and you

You got it, Peter.

Good thoughts are flowing his way.

You are both in my thoughts.

Thanks everyone. I spoke with his daughter earlier tonight and she said he is doing well. He is scheduled for late morning or early afternoon. She put me on speaker so I could wish him well and tell him everyone is pulling for him. His daughter said he smiled and nodded. He cant speak right now because he's had tubes, etc. and everything is sore. I'll post an update as soon as I hear how things went.

You all are first class and his family and I are grateful.

Peter

Pray everything works out.

Prayers and good thoughts your way.
I was friends with John Herrera and, like Ben says, any friend of John's is a friend of mine.
I do recall seeing a very tall Triumph driver at Summit a few times, so I may even have seen Blake.
