Mickey- you decided not reinstall the rear spoiler?

Yeah - didn't appeal to me. I have a luggage rack that will go on sometime this spring.

You need to drop that sucker.

Not really. I don't know why it's jacked up in that shot, but it's just right now.

Nice photo, Mickey. Clouds look ominous for a top-down cruise.

I see you make Brand X bring up the rear. We do the same.

Mickey!!

Fantastic improvement!! Ya got rid of the Elvis look
and got down to basic clean lines and eye pleasing colors.

Hang the luggage rack on yer garage wall. It will take away
from the overall balance and swept lines of your car and
become a rear end focal point- like a fat lady in spandex shorts!

I might know zip about auto mechanics but clean, crisp designs
I know well.

Thanks, John.

That was taken on a levee between Baton Rouge and New Orleans a couple years ago. Just a typical spring day there. It was actually a great drive; went up River Rd. from N.O. to B.R., returning on I-12 to Mandeville, then across Lake Pontchartrain back to N.O.

Thanks, Dale. I'm still a little hot and cold about the rack. I like the car with it as well as without. Best thing would be to find another boot lid to put the rack on. May do that yet.

Found another picture on this computer - shows the ride height a bit better:

Great photo ! Who's that young feller drivin' yer car?

I still say nix to the boot rack. Here's a photo of a Triumph,
more or less like yours. Try to picture a rack on this car as well!

OK, 'nuff about mine...

How 'bout some other contributions to the thread?

One more boot rack post... I have one on my coupe but I also have a different bootlid in the garage waitiing to be installed that has not had a rack mounted to it. I don't like the looks of the rack on the coupe. However, I do like my rack on my TR6. The TR8 (and 7) has a large trunk while the TR6 trunk is pretty small so the rack can come in handy with the TR6.

Wow, don't I know it!! My TR6 has not even trunk space for a small fishing tackle box.
