Bill, I agree with you, they are really quite amazing. When I have a free minute or three I will dig some up of mine to show where I am today.
I also feel it is very important for us, the doers, to realize where we have come from. Restoring a 40+ year old car can be a daunting experience so I think it would be good for the "pick me up" that we all need from time to time.
Great idea, hope it catches on!

That smoke in the top picture is my brain frying at the possibilities of my before *all the cars look like that now) looking like Bill's after (someday).

Bill-

Your before pictures look like you purchased your car
from Pedro's LBC lot of almost completely restored cars.

Now a real question:

You have the identical seats that I have in my 1969 TR6.
I'm almost certain mine are not original nor 1969 model.

What year car are your seats? Just curious.

thanks,

dale

as far as I know they are the original seats from my 69 tr6

my car did come from Florida, maybe it made the swim from Pedro.....

Do you want only before and after photographs of a whole car project or is it O.K. to post photos of a project on part of the car?

My TR3 has never been totally restored, but I have worked on it.

Maybe others have cars with similar history?

of course ANY features that have been worked on !!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/angel.gif

Those seats look like the seats in my 69 which I am sure are original.

OK, here's just two for now. Web site has them all, so no sense me putting them here.

And the worst part is, this still isn't the latest nor is it done yet.

Besides, I want to see everyone else's work.

I figgered out how to use this here scanner do-hickey. These two photos are from the front suspension rebuild I did in '96. Opposite sides photographed, obviously, but representative.

This is the second front suspension rebuild I performed on The Blue TR3. The first was in '81.

Sorry about the bar in the photo. haven't connected it up yet
Also those are the old disk still. Until my wheels show up I will have to use the old.

O.K., kodanja, here are some before and after photographs of the TR3 Racecar:

Man, I miss that car!
