posi-drive screws

As I have been working on my TR6 I have been amazed at the number of posi-drive screws. I am used to seeing them on GM cars but never thought they would be used on Triumphs.

I am not familiar with the posi-drive screw. How do they differ?

The angle of the slot is different than with the normal Phillips. You can mess either up by using the wrong driver.

The posi-drive screws have four lines on the head between the four slots. I have found that nearly all of the cross slot screws have been posi-drive. I suspect those that are not may have been replaced.

The only place I have found any Posi-Drive screws on my car are the ZS carbs.

LOL Right in front of you face Bill, in plain sight - holding the dashboard on.

They are all over the car. Mostly it seems in the interior, for holding interior trim bits together (speaker covers on the trans, visor clips, etc.)
