As the other guys reported, make sure you remove everything from the tank prior to coating. Failure to do so will cause the coating to fail and the coating material will flake off causing major headaches. High pressure spray and then boil the tank out with the provided cleaner/prep.

Take the tank to a radiator shop & have them boil it out to make sure its clean.

Hirsch Auto has a gas tank cleaner, etch and coating. It looks like they are the supplier for what Moss sells. I have cleaned and applied it but haven't filled the tank yet.
The Hirsche website has some good information on prepping the tank and sealing (under gas tank repair > gas tank sealer > questions and answers about using this product) but they are pretty harsh on using products that sound like the Por 15 type. I don't know if what they say is true .. only point it out so one can do their own research and make a decision.

Good advice on the radiator shop boiling the tank out. Any foreign material will ruin the job.
I've had great success with POR products btw. Hard to find any competitor willing to spend advertising space talking up someone else's products. I've heard Hirsch stuff is well liked too.
