TR4/4A Pictures of your TR4A w/ SU carb linkage set up

I don't have any handy but could take some the next time I'm visiting them in storage if no one else comes up with some. I need to check on some Spitfire parts anyway.

Any view in particular that you are interested in to make sure I get a picture of the right thing from the right angle?

Scott

Hi Scott - thanks for the offer. Looking to confirm that this is correct and the geometry looks right.

Turns out that putting stuff back is new territory for me - ha!

Wait - got the second linkage wrong. Oops.

The extension from the rear linkage goes under the front linkage, correct?

OK - got it. I have the rear linkage upside down and the rod on the wrong side...

That is one of the hazards of being dyslexic - looked right to me like that. LOL.

Tom,

Looks like you already had a picture and good thing you looked at it!

Still need another picture? Mine are going to look like your before pictures (amazing how alike they look!).

Scott

Thanks Scott - yes, I did indeed find my reference picture. I had put it in the wrong part of my taxonomy. Duh. Anyway...looks sorted now. Linkage moves fine.

Do you guys put a small amount of moly grease or similar on the ball/socket where the linkage attaches?
