Re: PICTURE PAGE, a picture page, time to make a p
I'm not going to make it to Ozark or Penn. this spring too many other commitments. The paint is 23 years old, but still decent. I'm going to put a 3.90 diff and rebuild the rear suspension this year. Might get new seat upholstery, but that's not a priority. Ive only driven it about 10,000 miles since the original restoration in 1985. Put a 1275 in it a few years back and have been driving it more in the last 2 years. Someday I'm going to do it over and go back to the original yellow or OEW.
Re: PICTURE PAGE, a picture page, time to make a p
I hope I'm not too late to play. It doesn't look like this anymore. I just about have the engine bay stripped. I sold the slotted mags and replaced them with the OE steel wheels and white walls I have in my avatar. Also, the bonnet is now down in my basement!
Re: PICTURE PAGE, a picture page, time to make a p
Duncan, I bought the wheels from a British supplier I saw on ebay last year. They say MWS Racing , but there are no markings on them except the size. They are cheap but look very nice. I would not doubt that they are Chinese. The price was right. $490 USD including shipping, nuts, and caps. That was before the dollar really dived. The seller was "mgbreaker" Very easy to deal with and I got them in 1 week. Not the same quality as Superlite or Panasport, but the finish is as good or better. They are 13x5. Not sure about the offset. I have 155/80-13 tires on them.
