Great pictures Harry. You lucky man, still driving your TR. Sticky, salty roads here in Scotland. Keep them coming as long as you can keep driving your TR.
I love the picture from the Morris Minor Bruce. That is what I call real snow.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif I suppose I deserve that. 9 out of 10 storms pass through here without doing much. Its that 10th that tends to get nasty. The warning word for preparing to get hammered is 'upslope'. If the forecast is for a storm with an 'upslope' condition, usually meaning that the storm is coming in from the northeast, the end result is that the front range (eastern slope of the Rockies) gets pounded while the mountains and western slope get less.

This storm was the fourth highest accumulation for the front range in recorded history. The last big one was in March of 2003, which I missed as I was living it Italy at the time. The other two with higher accumulations were 24 years ago and 100 years ago.

Wow - this past Sunday in my part of New England was sunny and in the mid-50's (cooled down a little from Saturday when it was 70'!!)

Still driving the Triumph with the top-down in January on my favourate winding backroads! Unbelieavable! Keep thinking "This will be my last drive for the season", but not yet.

Global warming a bad thing? Guess it depends on where you live! Thats a great looking back road! Reminds me of the back roads I use to ride on when I was up and lost in Western Mass.

Photo thru my wifes 4WD at a club beach outing. I would have taken my TR6 if it were 4 wheel drive!

there are designated beaches to drive on, strick rules apply and the beaches are patrolled (near populated areas) by authorities (C.A.L.M). Reduced pressure in tyres to reduce sand disturbance and no rubbish left behind etc., etc.....And being in a 4WD club member, there is even more pressure to behave responsibly as a club rep. This particular beach is about 100km north of Perth and relatively unpopulated (notice shortage of bikini babes on the sand).

I thought I should revive this old thread as I managed to free off the brakes and get my Triumph going last weekend. I managed to do six miles around the farm where I keep the car!!

Ol yeller is well asleep. It's been below ) F here for the last few days. Warmed up to +6 today/ Wind chills have been down to -40F. Thought about starting Yeller up just to give it some exersise. Then I rethought it. If id didn't start I'd be working on it trying to get it going. Better to just let sleeping LBC's lie.

a beach shot on Australia Day (night) celebrations will an electrical storm out to sea and a view of McNaughts commet central sky. Beat that........sorry no triumphs in view.

of the fireworks you can also faintly see
Haley's comet.

I read about them "boys only" Aussie beaches.
Interesting to see one.

Hi Harry,
Yes, it's the 1300TC. Unfortunately I discovered that the rear six inches of each sill has rotted out along with the jacking points. This is on top of the front subframe mount that I already knew about. I may have a busy time ahead of me with the welder before I can consider an MOT.
We also have a couple of inches of snow here now.
