Photo Thru my Windsheild

Aldwyn:

Clarksville or Ellicott city road area??

Was there a forest fire in the area you are
driving thru? None of the trees or bushes have
any leaves. All burned off?

The road looks familiar to me. Glad to see you
out and about.

Dale, I am glad to see YOURS out and about! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

And the road I was driving down was in Columbia... it's actually Oakland Mills Road. It's my favorite "quick drive" from my house... I can be there in three minutes, for it's mile long of wooded straights and sharp turns. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Sad that they are going to close the road and make the area a park. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif Normally, I am all for killing sprawl and putting in parks... but in this case, I am bummed by it!

Oh, and as far as how the trees look? You see, we have this thing up here called winter, and....

Dave,

Please refer to FAQ's at top of forum listings page. If that doesn't help, stop back here again.

Just been for a great drive in the TR across the moors and back again this evening. Lovely sunny weather, but rather "bracing"!

Thanks to Peter I spent the day doing this instead of wrenching under the hood with my back ordered throttle bearings! This looks like the day to cruise before the rain wash's us out for the rest of the week! Just like Summer... At 40 degrees F. Yeah right!

Nice photo Harry, happy for you driving today.
I'm wondering about the photo. Are you having a
drought where you were driving? The trees and shrubs
to the right look all dried and dead like.

The hood of your TR is sure shiny!

Still some snow in the woods here in Wisconsin. Still, there people on the golf course. Just don't hit it into the woods, or play with an orange ball.

Local club had a brunch run yesterday, nearly twenty cars in all. This was my view for part of it.

There is a Jaguar XJC and A TR6 directly in front of the convertible Herald.

Closer photo of the Herald.
