Likewise, I love seeing the USA through the windscreen of a TR3! I had a really enjoyable 3 months driving around the States 11 years ago. Unfortunately I wasn't in a TR, but an Oldsmobile, but that was a thrill for me - never having seen such a big car! Your pictures bring back many happy memories.
By the way it looks as though the leaves have all dropped off the trees over there in the last couple of days. They are still firmly attached here waiting for the first frost.

Well, Kansas isn't quite Scotland or Colorado, but it can still look pretty good. Of course everything looks nicer through a Triumph windshield, even if it does need to be cleaned! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/driving.gif

Alas, a photo not taken thru a Triumph windscreen, but thru a hire car. Photo is of the Indian Ocena again, but this time in the tropical north west of Western Australia. Temp 36C and 90% humidity, weather only Tinster could enjoy.

Well done Harry. That has cheered me up for this evening! If I can't drive mine I can at least enjoy a virtual drive of yours! Look at that lovely DRY road.
 
I wish that I had a really great photo to post through the windscreen of Ol Yeller, but this was from a rental in Ireland.. Wish I was driving my Spit there, except for the rain.

Yesterday and today have been the only times I have ever been able to drive my Triumph in November.

I've driven from Fort Collins (5,000 feet) to Estes Park (7,200+ feet) on Christmas Eve, Christmas day, New Years Eve and New Dears day (all different years) with the top down and 60+ degrees weather and sunshine. The canyons were still chilly though in the areas the sun couldn't reach. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yesnod.gif

Like I said elsewhere, its real hard to put a car 'away for the winter' in this part of Colorado. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devilgrin.gif
 
Another great fall day. Naugatuck River can be seen to the right now that most of the leaves are gone. State suppose to stock with Salmon over the next couple of weeks. Had to wear the dark shades today!

try using www.photobucket.com
 
Maybe its too long of an address.

I copied and pasted that address into another browser window and it came up so its not a security issue. Not sure.

Photobucket works really well though. I use it too.
 
I'm afraid this is all I am going to be looking at though the windscreen of the TR3 for the next five months.

Well I had some time this afternoon to edit together a few short clips of video from earlier this week. My camera mount was a little shaking and when I got going too fast the wind noise got pretty bad. But it still sounds pretty good while accelerating. Those of you that lock up your cars for winter might enjoy this a bit.

I was driving Greenie to work last week and had parked on a hill overlooking the Nation's Capital to take a photo through my windshield for this thread, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gifand a nice gentleman in a '71 TR6 pulled up next to me! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif We both pulled over and chatted for a while, and then I followed him for a couple of blocks before our paths diverged. So, instead of the vista overlooking DC, here's a photo of the TR6 through Greenie's windscreen! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
