That's some mighty fine drivin' while picture taking there! I have enough trouble just turning the camera on and getting a pic while driving and hopefully not hitting anything on a deserted road.

It's called 'hip shooting'. Photographing without looking through the camera to frame the shot. Consumer digitals are great for this. Do not, and I'll stress it again, do not try to 'frame' the shot while in motion. With a bit of practice you can get quite good at 'hip shooting' and you don't take your eyes off of the road. Looking through a camera while driving, especially if the effective focal length is wider or more telephoto from a 50mm (on a 35mm camera) equivalent can really mess with your head by altering what your brain is used to on depth perception and motion.
When I took my photos through the windshield while moving I would hold the camera at about head hight between the the seats, hold it level and then just start shooting with one hand while driving with the other. Not really any different than tuning the radio by feel. With the digital cameras especially, just delete the bad ones and keep practicing. That's called editing. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
