Yes that would be RG, not RC, I think I might have been in the sun too long, what little hair I have left is showing blond

Ed

I read his original post too quickly, sorry. He better hope super Henri, who I didn't know was Ken's Blonde brother, don't land on him

I'd say that this was an interesting thread...but nay...I won't...the only surprise that I saw in it was Chuck's posts...they had more than five words in a few of them...the "king of the one-liners" actually had a few sentences....with nouns and verbs and such in them...I was very impressed...I'm looking for the day when paragraphs start forming...

Oh, I haven't forgotten you Ed...I don't mind your post...RG thought it was funny as others may have too...actually it's not...I pick on Chuck or Tony or even Brenda (ak...RG) and others...I even make fun of the stuff they post...however I never call anyone stupid or dumb or unintelligent...I don't do any name calling at all...not even in jest...

I don't care if you want to poke fun at me, or if anyone else does...go ahead and take issue with what I say...tell me that what I write is wrong or that I've made a mistake somewhere...or that what I say is preposterous...but never...attack me personally...it's bad form...

Do it with innuendo...or a bit of sarcasm...between the lines...but never outright...also keep in mind...you don't want to spit into the wind...or step on my cape....

yeah Henri, those reading lessons I'm taking have really been paying off. I'm learning to read this forum without help, and someday may be even able to form coherent thoughts. But at least Arnold won't be my governor

Hey, Henri - you can pick on us Southern boys all you want, we understand your need to do so - livin' out there in La-La Land & all! But, when chuck starts to understand trisyllabic words, you might be in a bit of a pickle!

But at least Arnold won't be my governor

"Vat...I'll be baack"...

(Hey...I can do one-liner's too!)

I knew I had to take this from Henri, he is a Healey guy, but I thought we MG types stuck together Tony. That's what I get for thinking

Oh Henri, Henri..

Climb down from that pedestal you're standing on please... I think the lack of oxygen up there is affecting your brain.

Don't worry Ed, it wasn't the cape that you stepped on, it was the ego....

chuck...we've gotta relax down every now & again to pick on one another (in a friendly way) so the Healey guys will chuckle & loosen up so their underwear can out of its knots...only reason I jumped on the little 'reading' thing was to calm Henri down...he just doesn't realize Ed's a good guy who was just funnin'....heck, we can't all be up there at Henri & RG's level....so, I decided to show Henri that even the best of friends could do a little funnin'
cheers.gif

Oh, I am sorry, Ken's blond brother correctly spells his name Henry, I always have trouble with alternate spelling of common names..

Ed

Tony - Believe me, Henri and I aren't anywhere close on a cerebral level... I'm left of centre he's way out in left field!! I feel humbled that he even talks to me!
wink.gif

Ed - Don't be ripping on Henri because of his name, I don't think anyone here had a say in what their parents called them at birth. I certainly didn't, neither did you and neither did Henri!!

RG

RG...I give my students atest to see if they're left brain-centric, right brain-centric or balanced as different functions happen in the 2 sides of the brain...then, we work towards becoming brain-balanced by increasing our cognitive thinking skills! Appears you & Henri are already at the balanced brain stage!

RG,
Actually, I wasn't ripping Henri on his name.
I was trying to extract myself from what was turning into a less than humorous exchange..
My attempts at humor are frequently construed as personal attacks, which is seldom my intention..

And besides, my name is the same as a old dead comic, and I didn't get to choose it either.

Ed

Ah...all is well in the sandbox again...the birds are once again chirping a happy tune...a fawn is leaping in the meadow...calm is restored in the land...how nice...

Ed...to err is human to forgive divine! (RG now that's ego!)...incidentally we all "wear" one...for some of us it fits like a cheap suit...what couldn't fine one in your size?...

I've never been accused of having a right or left thinking brain...distorted or disengaged maybe...

What's all this kowtowing to Healey people...like were better or something (Healey guys will chuckle & loosen up so their underwear can out of its knots - What's this?)...we're not snobs...we drive Healey's because we appreciate the finer things in life...plus we can afford them...

I'll be gone for a few days...in Florida of all places...so play nice until I get back...no throwing sand...or pulling girls pig-tails...

And always remember..."If you can't say something nice about someone...say it anyways...someone is bound to enjoy it"....

I knew that Tony, there isn't much you could say to hurt my feelings.

I don't think there is alot of sanity going on here, RG

Just a quick update. Sam pulled out Saturday morning heading for home. I believe everyone had a good time, especially the drive around the Cabot Trail. Unfortunately it was not done in lbc's, but we saw a beautiful 74 crab apple green MGB from Alberta while there.

Mark

Well, Mark...when we get there, we'll be pulling an MGB behind my RV!

Hey, Sam called me from Nova Scotia. Left a message and wanted Alida and I to come over!! Hmm, 6000 miles for a beer?? Next year Mark!! We will be pulling our MG too!!! Just have to get the trailer mad now and I'm ready to go!!
