JP - I think the general idea is to raise the hood *before* washing the car.

Just sayin' ...

:jester:
Nopers - was washing underneath and just had to wipe them off

I saw a few of those at the local VW dealer. Not sure if I like it or not.
I wonder if it would look better with a two round headlight front end.

I love it! (It’s a minivan… not a sports car, so the “emotional” downsides of an electric drivetrain are acceptable. I.e. no engine “vroom”, no clutch, etc.)

Only problem I have is the range; 234 miles. For road-tripping car, that is simple unacceptable.

Oh, and the price is a bit eye-watering…

At first I thought it was New Jersey since the attendant was filling the car but then I noticed someone cleaning the windshield and that would never happen in New Jersey
A comment on pinterest gives 1939 San Francisco. Self service didn't come into widespread use until the 80s-90s?

Veedol - now *that* brings back some memories.

Some years back,I drove down to Los Angeles. My Dad
gave me his Fling A gas credit card to use "just in case".I was
just just of Santa Maria and found out that all of the Fling A -
stations had shut down.
Not sure how I ever made it home.I was surviving on some
Denney's coffee card that a manager gave me!

Ever notice the similarity of the Associated Flying A, and the Veedol logo?
