Photo du Jour ( Car Related!)

Sticking with the theme…

No, the picture with the NASA plane & the Interceptor was taken at the Mojave Spaceport in Mojave, CA.

They have some interesting stuff out there including the Roc carrier plane, The White Knight, and the Roton Rocket (which I can’t believe anyone ever thought would work!)

I had a nightmare one night - I dreamt I was driving down a freeway with a Pinto in front
of me,an Audi 5000 coming up fast behind me,& a Suzuki Samurai on each side of me!

I may have ridden in that car! I met the owner of one this same color
at the All British field Meet in Portland,Oregon,& told him that I had a
book with one the very same color, but that one had a Michigan college
sticker on it.He then told me that his car came from Michigan. He gave me
a ride in it back to my motel room where I had the book.
That thing was so cool, even to ride in!

Not a caption, but that makes me homesick! It's on I-43 just on the WI/IL border, on my (former) way to the racetrack. For a time, he also had one or two cars that looked like they had been dropped nose-first from the same tree, plus a snub-nose pickup truck V8 mid-engine dragster in a permanent wheelstand (on special occasions he'd have flames coming out the zoomie headers).

Okay, okay -- I've heard of trucks with three-on-the tree, but... <crickets>

This is what happens when an F350 sneaks up behind a Chevy and turns on it's high beams! (see, it's not ALWAYS an MG vs Triumph thing! LOL)
