Personal question..little bio info??

I'll turn 56 in about 3 weeks. This is my 1st LBC but probably not my last....if I ever get this one done.

Ya! Ya! I Know! You never get done with an LBC.

I'm 57 and this is my first LBC (little British car). I have restored 1950s & 1960s Fords in the past. It doesn't matter what your age is we are all car guys.

I am 27.9123287....

That is to say I'll be 28 in 32 days. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Had my Midget since I was 15 although it had already been in the family for a few years before that. Been working on the things since I was old enough to turn a wrench. I guess that probably puts it up over half of my life.

34. Ran 5 miles this morning and feel 74 right now.

A very wise man whose opinion I greatly respect told me he thought the British Car Hobby was going to die off soon. I am glad to see so many young ens like myself taking up the mantle and proving my friend wrong in this one instance.

How in the world can it die off. So many still out there and unloved.

53, had an XK-120 FHC back in the mid '70's and a 1600 MGA in the late '60's. Fell in love with the Lotus 11 many years ago and with the reintroduction of the Westfield replica took the plunge and ordered a kit. It is nearly complete as far as the factory's building goes and should arrive in a month. Then I get to have the fun of assembling it!!!

I'm 32 spent my formative years being driven round in the back of my dads Midget, but got into Volkswagen vans when I passed my driving test. I'm on my second van ('78 twin slider) but am currently spending most of my time trying to get the very same car I spent my youth in, back on the road /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm 51 now and bought the little car (59 Bugeye) two years ago - it came home on a tow-dolly with its various parts in boxes (I’m sure my wife thought I was nuts)... It is running now – big fun – but I still have a lot to do… This is also my first foray into the world of LBC...

55 yrs. old today(Oct. 15), and really can't figure out if that's old or young, but really enjoying life.

45 years young and having the time of my life. I've really been enjoying the Miata I picked up this week. I'm taking tomorrow to pay some attention to Madge.

I think I've named my Midget Madge.

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif Only another LBC owner could really "get" owning "4ish" cars

My first Bugeye, 1963 I think, had the rear of the cockpit cut out like the late models so small son could sit on the spring hanger frame with pading of course. Rode that way for 4 years in Hawaii.

The pic in the pic place is the car in back yard in hawaii and son smileing at camara, he was about 2 1/2 maybe. He is still my bud at 6' 2" and 260 lbs. Can lift an a-40 out by him self.

48, and a fugitive from the laws of averages /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
My Sprite is my 5th LBC, 8th bit of Brit machinery. I've done a TR4, 67 Midget, 71 MGBGT, 72 MGB, 62 Land Rover 109, 72 LR 88, and am a part owner in a 43 Humber Mk4 Armoured Car. Guess I'm a bit twisted!!!!!

And Dear Wifey has a 60 Sprite, and a 2003 Mini.
