Penny's bodywork begins

Drew,
I've got a suspension (front and rear), engine, and tranny; all of them freshly rebuilt. But the bodyshop still has my tub. You've got a body, but nothing to put on it. Between the two of us we have a complete car! Maybe we should meet halfway (somewhere around Ogden?) and make a complete car. :highly_amused:

Would give us something to drive while we're finishing up the rest of the pieces.

Congrats! Now the real fun begins!

Home!

She's home!

Took today off and went down to the shop to bring Penny home. Car looks good, I'm happy with the work. Now on to everything else. As an aside, God bless AAA RV memberships. One quick call and a flatbed arrived to tow the car home.

Looks great wish that was in my garage. Now change your signature:encouragement:

Awesome! Can't wait until I'm in the same position.

Drew I see you added tow-hooks. Good move. Going to be interesting to see if I can get the same to work with a Sway Bar and Front Tilt Bonnet setup on Bugsy II. I think I can make work if I position them on the inside of the frame rails.

They definitely made hooking it up on the flat bed much easier. I put them on specifically for the transport back from the bodyshop, but they'll likely stay if they don't interfere with anything else.

They can remain as they are with both the sway bar and hinge kit. Neither will interfere.

Good to know. I will be doing a sway bar, but keeping the stock rear hinges.

Cool! I need to come down to see it.

You do! I need to get you those carb parts back as well. Been so nutty around here I keep forgetting. You make any progress on yours?
