Painting the Car - Corner Bead Advice

Boy, that's pretty. :encouragement:

Edit - Did he paint with the boot and bonnet lids off? If so, why? I'd think if you wanted to get the best match with the surrounding shrouds you'd paint with them on after jamming the openings.

Hi Rick - They are hanging to the right out of the picture. He painted them off the car at the same time as he painted the section they were from. From what I remember, the panels were all loosened and there was concern about the Bonnet and Boot warping the panels a bit with their weight while extended up. Also wanted to get a clean spray onto the undersides of each. Jim

J - That's photo is inspirational. I hope to get my car in that state within the next two months. What was the color and paint code for the white you used. It's looks a little whiter than the normal OEW. I like it.
I'm heading right out to the garage to pick up the body prep again.....

Rob - We came up with two formulas for Old English White in the database he was using, did a spray of each and went with the whiter of the two, the other was more yellow in tint. I'll try to dig up the formula used and shoot it to you. Jim
