TR2/3/3A Oil pressure readings

Above 2000 rpm you should set the pressure regulator to 70psi. Idle, then, shows the amount of clearance in the engine. You should have no less than 10psi. Anything greater than 10 is gravy. If you do drop below 10psi, you can use thicker oil to stretch a rebuild.

Then, remember that the dash gage may or may not show the correct pressure. If you are really curious, it would be best to use a decent gage tapped into the line.
