TR4/4A Oil pressure line from engine....assistance please.

I assume the oil pressure pipe was attached to the oil filter housing ex factory....lower front bolt hole?
I cannot find the original bolt that accepts the banjo fitting [ I have the oilpipe/ line with the banjo fitting on the end].......is it a special bolt that allows it to screw into the block as well as accept the banjo fitting of the oil line?...a pic would be helpful.
Also, can the oil pressure pipe with a made up adaptor be fitted to one of the bolts/bolt holes that come out of the oil gallery.

The line with the banjo fitting goes on the stud in the lower front corner. The stud is ordinary, but there are copper washers and a special nut (with a cap on it to hopefully stop leakage through the threads).

No reason you couldn't make up an adapter to replace one of the plugs. But watch out for straight threads and don't get a cam bearing retainer by mistake.

TR Enterprises has an adapter for the gallery plug but is used to take a pressure sensor vs. a capillary. I have one. Probably not much use to you for an oil gauge though ( ! ) but can confirm what Randall said - its a parallel thread for sure.

It would definitely be worth checking with them, though. Many pressure switches use 1/8" NPT, which is also a common thread for attaching a pressure gage.
When I added an OP gauge to the Stag, I just tapped a good spot for 1/8" NPT, and then used a common right angle NPT to compression adapter to link it to the line to the gauge.

As others have mentioned, it's a stud with two copper washers (different sizes) and a cap nut.

Which oil gallery bolt is used as a alternative oil pressure pick up point?
Also, I presume that there is an oil pressure feed ["Minks" picture] inside the filter housing to that bolt.

Then engine side copper washer has a larger hole for the oil to "leak" around the stud. The outer copper washer seals the banjo connection.

Can someone please advise... where exactly does the oil [under pressure] enter along the bolt/stud that the oil pressure line banjo attaches to.
This question is post rebuild and assembly of my engine.
Is there a small gallery inside the oil filter housing that runs to that stud?...or is part of the housing attachment gasket cut away to the base of the stud?

On the full flow Purolator heads, there is a groove in the face of the housing that goes against the cylinder block, connecting the adjacent oil cavity to the hole for the stud. No gasket modification is needed.

However, I don't know what the Tecalemit heads have.
