I am installing the Victoria British (Flo-Tec) adapter (without cooler connections) on my '74 TR6. The "recommended" filter is either the PH9A or PH966, neither of which I can find. Does anyone know another equivalent filter. Also, does the orientation of the filter (i.e horizontal/vertical) when it is installed? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazyeyes.gif

The best orientation for easy access is to have the filter hanging down nearly vertical. You will need to slant the filter slightly toward the front of the car to clear the clutch cylinder. This position allows you to remove the filter from the bottom.
