Now I Am Shocked....

heh... Cali Sales-tax is brutal....

[ QUOTE ]
Jim...in a way, that's kinda funny...but I have guys from California who order parts from me all the time for the discount & to save California sales tax...Moss ships them to me from New Jersey (or, sometimes, California) & I ship them to California & they're still less expensive than if the guys bought them direct from Moss!

Now, for an extra $6 per hundred, I can get Moss to drop ship directly from the factory!

[/ QUOTE ]And speaking for most of us on the left coast who order from you - Thanks! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Well, this afternoon the starter in my '92 Sonoma went 'click'...quick phone call to Advance & they delivered an AC Delco starter for $50! Man, I like this!

Jeez... How much is a 1984 Alfa Spider fuel pump?

Don't know, Kenny...when I get back fromn daughter's, I'll check!

Kenny, izzat what you chased it (the problem) to? There should be a HUGE filter beside it... replace that as well.

Nah, just guessing. I still don't have a fuel pressure gauge yet. But that's what the car seems to be doing... Starved for fuel above 1/4 throttle.

Sadly, you can't just whack it wif a ROCK like the MG's pumps when they start actin' th' goat. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yeah, I know. Hopefully Tony will PM me soon on "his" price from his local parts shop. hehehe. I'll have more spendin' money next friday. Oh, and I replaced the filter thismorning, and doublechecked the timing and the plugs - all good so far.

Hmmm. Well, pressures will tell.

I'll probably just spend the extra on a pump anyway... the one under there looks like it came with the car in 1984. pressure guage runs about $50, and It'd probably only tell me what I already think - then go into the toolbox for another 15 years /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

Fair "plan". Go fer it!

Thanks jim... I saved that under my favorites. Might actually buy it. If it works more than once, I'll be ahead of that game!

Lemme see...Alfa Spider, EFI,.... ummmm.... pressure gauge in-hand....

You're ahead.
