you mean other than the wood wheel, shift knob in glove box and what appears to be interesting documentation?

I haven't figured out why the early OD transmissions have a straight shift lever and the standard transmissions have a curved shift lever......seems they would both use the same shift lever.
 
All radios in the US were dealer installs....& none of them were made by BMC or BL.....the distributor had faceplates made up to fit several types of radios.....open one that has BMC or BL & you'll find whatever brnd the dealer/distributor bought.
 
Someone mentioned paperwork in glove box. It's for a Boman Model FM6A radio. I did not get a look at the label on the radio though so I am not sure of what it is.
 
Tony, I think the overdrive had the shifter coming out of the hole in the tunnel further back than the non O/D cars. The shift boot is reversed on O/D cars. That would get the shifter in the same location on both regular and O/D cars. Bob

You may be right, Bob....but remember, if you have an early OD main shaft, you can hang an OD unit on a standard transmission....& out in my garage are about 6 OD trans, 1 or 2 being early....standing the early ones next to the standard earlies doesn't show any difference in shifter location - gazing at them side-by-side.
