I've had my 72 since it was 10 years old, bought it from the original owner. It has a map pocket on the right kick panel. This is the original map pocket restored.

Paul, WOW! The interior is outstanding. I'm very impressed!

I sold my map pocket on ebay a while back. This is what took its place, lol. Also, I'm about to get rid of the Grant steering wheel and get the LE. My original 15" one was/is in need of some tlc. I already went back to OEM with the shifter.

& there is a small photo in Clausinger's of an old, original '71 engine compartment that has some traces of the same paintwork.

Which is what I also noticed, Rick. BUT I also noted that there is absolutly NO mention of being judged by ANY MGB Concours folks!!!

Bart's car (that started this thread) was featured in ClassicMotorsports magazine about 4 years ago in an article that compared 4 cars from the early 1970s including a TR6, a 914, Bart's MGB, a 240Z, and a Volvo 2 door sedan. Nice article that got me interested in buying an MGB to begin with.
