TR4/4A Nice 4A on Ebay

Oh I see now what looks at a glance like an OD switch in a couple of shots is the speedo needle. This car probably won't drive far enough to need it anyway. The early 4A's did have the dual exhaust like this.

Doh. Well I must have been smoking something last night. That picture really fooled me. Sheesh. Need to get new glasses, sorry about that!

I really do like the way Cascadia presents their cars, it shows that with great presentation (and great cars) ebay prices can get up there. Not sure it will make whatever reserve it has, but it is a nice car.

Like most cars, this one has little things that might not be quite right, but it sure looks close. I actually learned something new from the pics - in the trunk, the panel that covers the gas tank has a nice metal reinforcement along the bottom. You don't see that in the typical replacements offered now, you just get the pressed board. I'm pretty sure that is an original touch, because I remember finding bent up originals before. Or I may be smoking it again

You don't see the hood frame the correct color often. The dual exhaust looks cool but I'm glad I simplified with a single.

I have an NOS top frame in the basement and you are correct that you don't seem them that color very often (I know I painted my original one black the first time I restore it).

And if someone were nitpicky on having a "from the factory" restoration this should have the single exhaust given the late commission number. You can see the single exhaust hanger on the crossbrace in the last picture which wasn't present on the early cars. They left the dual hangers on the late cars though so you could retrofit the older and I personally prefer the dual like Ansa (no longer available) with dual chrome tips.

I also noticed that the caps are different on the brake and clutch masters. Easy fixes but with that kind of money I would think everything would be perfect.

I think my original TR4A had the same different brake and clutch master cylinder caps. The brake was aluminum but the clutch was not so I think that is correct.

I see we're up to $30,000 but the reserve still hasn't been met.

$33,433.00 Reserve not met.
Not much for a lot of cars, quite a bit for a TR4A.
