Stew, is it just the lighting, or are the intake valves in #1 and 2 "flat" and #3 and 4 "dished"?

There most likely were dished but the head is getting ported and rebuilt. Today I went out and installed one of the new wheels on the car and thankfully they fit. The rear fender lips have been rolled and the rust repairs finished. Picked up the manifold and head pipe finally some nice clean items going on the shelf.

I love the wheels -- huge fan of them. Was planning a set for my B before I sold it.

Looks like some good progress going on there.

All the sins have been revealed and all the engine bay parts came back from powder coating.

mix of aircraft stripper and sandpaper

wow that is beautifully done. what a good start to project. you dont want to even know what my body looks like after the northeast got to it.

Took a quick trip out there today after spending a rather short amount of time at the dmv getting a set of yom plates approved. At some point in the past someone spent a lot more time to fix a rust issue incorrectly and did a very good job at hiding it vs fixing it correctly fairly quickly.

i agree clear coat it and call it good. i even like the texture given by the sandpaper.

Any projected completion date?

Hopefully I'll have the car back from the body shop by the end of the year and if everything else goes smoothly it should be on the road by February or March but it could be sooner.
