TR2/3/3A New TR3 restoration Project

Marvin Gruber said:
...Not to discourage you but I believe I would get it drivable first and see how much I liked it before tearing it down. I have bought many cars over the years from folks that started restoration, spent lots of money and then gave up... ....a guy disassembled in 1989, he blasted the sheetmetal, built the engine and spent several thousand dollars buying new parts. Then it sat for the next 20 something years. ...

Good advice....

Welcome to the British Car fraternity. What you want to do is learn your car and put it back together right so your car is reliable and safe. In the process which can be very frustating you will derive a lot of pleasure and learn to love your car (after you hate it). Be well aware that this can be a long process for many to take a frame off to completion. I am now doing a second frame off (a TR4A IRS) after doing a 60 MGA years ago. I am not a mechanic but it can be done. Good luck!
