I've been a Triumph owner for 27 years, starting off with a Spitfire, and now onto my second TR6 which I've owned for 20 years. I'm British, but moved to France 3 years ago so have suddenly found myself in a country that doesn't speak English and have no idea what a TR6 is.
While living in the UK I always relied on my local garage who happened to be TR5/6 specialist (purely be coincidence) and I always left them to do any of the major jobs. Unfortunately they are no longer an option as I have 900 miles and the English Channel to deal with, so it's all down to me now.
My car is a drivers car, not a show piece, as I used it to drive it to work and it was taken for a 2 week trip around Europe every year. I have personally put 70K miles on the odometer, and it has been completely reliable for the last 15 years.
