Name is Mike but i’m Listed as MjS. Used to own a 1961 MGA 1600. It was my first purchased car in High School. I did a complete frame off restoration and added a fully balanced MGB engine. The car was painted then stripped once more in an attempt to bring it back to the official off white color. Sold it many years later just prior to my son’s birth. I recently discovered the car is now in The Netherlands. Too bad they won’t sell it back to me. It’s very likely because it was and remains in superior shape. :encouragement:

I’ve recently toyed with the idea of getting another A to drive around for a season then do a full restoration. This time I’ll do the work outside my head.

Welcome to BCF Mike! Did you by any chance know Dave Russell from Boise? He was a member here for years until he passed a few years back. He had a sweet red Austin Healey. Also, my wife is from Jerome, ID.

Glad to have you aboard!
