Hello to all,
I found this site cruising the “net” looking for parts for my Austin Healey 100-4 “M”. I always loved the body style, and although I built and restored many cars over the years I never built one for myself…..sound familiar?? I decided turning 50 I would indeed build one last car for me. Having done high caliber resto work in another life time and since I wanted to create a modified V8Healey (no booing!!),I looked for a rolling basket devoid of most of the stock parts. I did not feel right about altering a good restorable car. The car I found was fairly solid, missing lots of stuff, perfect for my project! It came with some extra sheet metal including a steel louvered hood. My friend told me to run the ID # with the BMIHT, and low and behold it is factory 2 tone “M” car! So here I am not creating my V8 modified Healey, but restoring this poor orphan back to it’s former glory…….Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Phil
