New Axle spline

I got new axles, splines, bearings, seals and re-built the rearend. The splines were tough to get on the axles but we did. Now that I have put it all together the spline hub and the hub that hold the axle to not seal completely. After a lot of investigation I have determined the ridge on the back of the spline hub is too deep or the bearing is too deep.

To fix it I am going to cut a shim out of metal. Has anyone else had this problem?

WOW! That's pretty slick! Have you figured out how to make the E-brake work?

I'll proabably do like I have in the Pantera and do a line lock. I thought of some other things but the line lock is simple.

I made a mount for a panhard rod on the rear end. I welded it when the axle was out which was good. Kept from boiling the oil.
