Need seats & steering wheel MKII Sprite/MKI Midget

Just to make sure I still have it (Pretty sure I do), send me a PM...they'll come FEDEX Ground.

I just added a message to the PM thread we already had going.
Thank you, I'm sure I'll be able to make something good out of them!

What are the seat bottom dimensions? Anyone know?
Can someone measure for me the width, depth & thickness?
I'm looking into foam replacement that doesn't cost over $200 per seat.
(yes, I've just been over to Moss & VB - WOW!!)

The bottom pan fits exactly inside the seat base rails. Probably make up something similiar to whats there till you can get some pans. The cushions are fine as is. Get some contact cement and similiar foam then trim a piece to glue into any spots that need it. The seat foams are most important for making these seats comfy. To bad you don't have the seat pans.

Bug-Eye seat pans are very similiar so any seat pan from 58 thru 65 will work. I'm sure you can find some fixable one's out there. Covers will be the big expense. You will need some pictures to see how the covers are attached and a bunch of the clips used for that.

Or you can do as many of us have and just make a pan out of 1/2" plywood.
Cheap, effective and invisible.

I guess I'll have to learn some more new things...

BillM - I'll be leaning on you (again) for information on this.

Here's a good question:

Today I found out the stock steering wheel is 16 inches diameter.
How do you guys slide in under that???
This is important because the one Ray sent me today is that one and I really want to use it but I'm going to need to find out how.
Maybe the stock seats are (or could be) really close to the floor?
