TR6 Need 1969 TR6 Expert Got Questions

It is my understanding that the very early '69s had the windshield frame the same color as the body for a short time. I have never heard a cutoff date for that feature, but as I understand it was for a very short time. You might want to do some research. Someone on here should know for sure. ...J.D.
 
The WS frames were always done in body color and then blacked out when the rear body was blacked.
It is a quicky job and wears off over time. I always wondered about the PDB who brushed the paint on before the grills were fitted.

As said earlier , the factory had a PDB with a brush, black out the grill panel by hand.(after painting)
He had likely been on the job since the first Tr4 was built.I have seen his work on many cars.....
