My E-type IRS unit

Well, I've bought one - 3.5:1 and limited slip.
I had a quick check of my GT's rear unibody-frame, and it seems that installation will be much simpler that I had imagined since the box-steel reinforcement on this Opel is just a bit wider than what appears to be the mating surface on the IRS's frame.

I'd like to have some photographs of the E-type's rear monocoque, to see how it mates to this unit - I didn't have the pleasure of uninstalling the one I bought.

Opel? What're you doing, Sean?

Did the E-type come stock with a rear anti-roll bar - as in this picture? I see a odd looking piece on my IRS unit where a trailing arm connects to the IRS assembly - what is this little, 4 inch joint looking thing for? Does it secure the anti-roll bar?
