Lin, These are rear springs that I bought from Moss about 5 years ago and they have plastic strips between each leaf. They may not be teflon but imagine they give a slicker surface than the original zinc strips that were used. The painting on the Moss springs was really bad. It looked like they were assembled and then dipped in paint which causes an uneven build up between the leaves and rust was starting to form. Now each leaf has been primed and painted and assembled with the plastic strips between.
